Home of the Mighty Red Barons! Bishops College Barons have a long tradition of athletic excellence. This year the Girls Senior Basketball team hopes to continue that long tradition. Barons off to a strong start!

The Sr. Girls Basketball team won the first game of the year by defeating the O'Donel Patriots 83-71 (can someone confirm this - our score sheets say we had 83 points but i'm not sure of the opponent score...someone forgot to write the final score on the stats sheet...:P). The Barons shot 51% from the field and 61% from the line to cinch the win. Our newest import Adrienne Penney lead the offense with 20pts and 9 rebounds, rookie guard Amy Gough added 19pts (including two 3pters) and 7 rebounds, and Sarah Hansford chipped in 16pts and 7 rebounds for the Barons offense. Excellent defense, teamwork, and good spirit from the sidelines secured the win for the Lady Barons.
