Barons trounce Carbonear, Struggle against O"Donel

In exhibition games over the weekend, Bishops Barons defeated Carbonear 77-35, despite shooting only 34% from the field and 50% from the line. This game was an exceptional team effort. L. Crocker led the offense with 16pts, A. Gough and A. Penney each chipped in 11. E. Bursey led the assists with 7 and steals with 4.

The Barons dropped their first loss of the year to the O'Donel patriots with a hard fought game. The Barons lost their lead late in the fouth quarter for a 74-69 loss. As a team, the Barons shot 48% from the field and 61% from the line. S. Hansford scored an amazing 26pts for the Barons and ruled the boards with 5 rebounds for the Barons. A. Gough added 13 pts and had 4 blocks for the Barons while L. Crocker added another 10pts and 4 steals.

The Barons will look to regain the edge from the O'Donel Patriots Friday at 6:15 at O'Donel Gym.
