Bishops Girls Bring it to the U17 Provincials

The Bishops Barons Girls Basketball participated in the A division of the U17 Pepsi Provincial Tournament from April 19-22, 2007. The girls advance to the semi-final with a well desevered win over the O'Donel Patriots in Saturdays Crossover. The girls showed the province that they deserve to be competing at the A level and will be very competitive in future years. The girls picked up several players at last minute to make sure we would not default and we would like to thank Maria, Stacy, Laurianne, and Emily for filling our bench.

Our high scorers for the weekend include: Sarah Hansford (47 pts), Maria Oliver (43 pts), Laura Crocker (36 pts), Casey Dunn (27 pts), and Erin Bursey (19 pts).
